Druzy Shell Necklace Fossil Seashell with Tourmaline - Gold Filled

0.00

An amazing one of a kind piece to set your fashion apart this season!

The 26x18mm focal in this unique piece is an amazing fossilized seashell upon which druzy crystallized quartz has formed. This particular shell is very well shaped with crystals that wrap all around the shell except for the spiral top! All the crystals are a fabulous soft white and pale citrine color. This fossil has retained its perfect shell shape with no deformities!

The beautiful shell is wire wrapped entirely in a combination of various 14/20 gold filled chains - 1.1mm cable and a textured long/short chain that are asymmetrically accented with tourmaline and garnet. The shell is crowned with complimentary tourmaline and spinel.

The overall length of the necklace a nice long 27 inches.  It is finished with a sturdy lobster clasp, and there are no open jump rings on the necklace anywhere.

This necklace is very well made... by me, and will last a lifetime.

PLEASE feel free to convo me with any questions! THANK YOU FOR LOOKING!

**I was originally told that this type of 100 million year old fossil comes from the Sahara Desert, however with some more research, I have learned that  they are also excavated from within a hard rocky matrix on a small hill in India, about 1500 kms from the nearest coast. Each shell is carefully extracted by hand from the hard rock and less than 5% have the crystals inside. The crystals occur in a wide array of colors ranging from pristine white to natural citrine in bright yellow, amethyst and smoky quartz. I have just a few more, so ask me if you are looking for something in particular!
